Children’s Program

  • Youth groups or individual children can create fun holiday crafts, decorations or activities for the Lydia’s House children to enjoy during the holidays. In the past, groups have created Valentine treat boxes, Thanksgiving hats, Easter egg decorating materials, stars and strips tic-tac-toe games. There are so many potential ideas! Get creative and teach your children how to give back at a young age, by putting together a fun craft for our children.

Community Outreach

  • Night for Hope and Healing Committee: This committee oversees the planning details of our largest annual fundraiser. This special gala event is held on the first Saturday in March.
  • Special Events: Support Lydia’s House special events through periodic single day of event participation.
  • Holiday Project: Purchase and/or help collect gifts and other items needed for celebrating the holidays at Lydia’s House.
  • Communications Committee: Help to develop our public relations strategies and advertising for events. Membership is comprised of professionals who work in the public relations, marketing and communications field.
  • Pin Sales: House Pin sales – individual or retail sellers. Sell pins at local craft fairs and special events. Corporate, Civic and faith communities are invited to adopt a craft fair for a day. This great way to gain short-term volunteer hours. Training offered.

*Next Pin Sales Training and Dessert held at Lydia’s House on Thursday August 4th.
